Calvary Dayschool is seeking a full-time Teacher. Prefer candidates to have NC Early Childhood Credential (EDU 119), Qualified Letter from DCDEE and experience working in a licensed facility. You may apply online or in person. If you have questions, please call 828-437-2738.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Establish and conduct an age-appropriate classroom that effectively meets each child's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.
• Assist the Lead Teacher in preparing and executing weekly lesson plans that support the curriculum outlined by the Director.
• Provide a loving, nurturing classroom atmosphere with an enthusiastic and flexible approach, actively engaging each child with encouragement and positive reinforcement.
• Utilize various approaches and classroom materials to encourage self-expression, imaginative play, creativity, problem-solving, and language development across many learning styles.
• Consistently provide effective parent communication.
• Ensure the safety of all of the children assigned to your care at all times through constant supervision.
• Follow all updated health and sanitation procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.50 - $15.00 per hour
