Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Infant Child Minders to join our team at Tampines East Community Club. In this role, you will support infants and toddlers through attentive childminding, fostering positive routines and encouraging early learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Childminding Routines: Manage feeding, diaper changing, bathing, and dressing.
- Napping & Sleeping Arrangements: Organize schedules and maintain safe sleep practices, including SIDS prevention.
- Health & Safety: Maintain a clean and secure environment by consistently following operational SOPs and safety guidelines.
- Developmental Activities: Conduct age-appropriate activities that support sensory, motor, and cognitive milestones.
- Parent Communication: Provide regular updates on each child's daily progress and well-being, maintaining supportive partnerships with families.
- Adaptability: Adjust routines and activities to meet the changing developmental needs of infants and toddlers.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in infant care, early childhood settings, or babysitting for infants and toddlers.
- Passion & Commitment: Genuine enthusiasm for nurturing young children and actively supporting their development.
- Communication Skills: Warm, clear, and effective interaction with children and families.
- Organization: Ability to plan, organize, and adapt daily routines based on individual needs.
- Personal Qualities: Patient, empathetic, attentive, and flexible.
- Early Development Knowledge: Familiarity with infant developmental milestones and basic early childhood education principles.
Training and Certifications
Selected candidates will be required to complete (provided by us):
- EduNanny Basic Infant Training (2 days)
- CPR Certification
- Food Hygiene Certification
Additionally, candidates must successfully pass an Authority Background Check (duration of approximately 2-3 weeks).
