Childcare Assistant (Floater) Part-Time

We are hoping to recruit a suitable candidate to join our team part-time from September 2026.

The successful candidate will be employed on a part time basis, Monday to Fridays each week from 11am-2.00pm, (pending the needs of the service).

• A genuine love of working with children and within the childcare environment.
• Childcare qualification as listed on the DCEDIY recognised Childcare Qualifications, minimum Level 5, Level 6 is advantageous.
• At least 6 months paid employment working within a full day care creche environment is required.
• Knowledge of TUSLA requirements and 2016 regulations.
• Completion of Child Protection, First Aid, Manual Handling and Food Safety Certified is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent teamwork principles.
• Have the ability to work as part of a team under the supervision of a Lead EDucator and Manager.
• Flexibility to cover additional hours pending sick leave & annual leave if required.

Pay: From €15.00 per hour
