• Administer and manage the service in line with policies and procedures and meet all requirements of relevant funding organisations
• Manage a budget and maintain accounts
• Maintain all records as required by Pobal, DCECIY, HSE, Tusla and other relevant organisations
• implementation of Aistear & Siolta along with the relevant regulatory Framework
• Manage and oversee the childcare service, including direct service provision and day-to-day supervision of Early Years Educators
• Co-ordinate and lead staff, including work rosters
• Network with appropriate statutory and voluntary agencies
• Inform Early Years Educators of policies and procedures in relation to good practice and facilitate adherence to it
• Liaise with room leaders regarding each child’s observation and assessment
• Report to and attend Board meetings and provide written reports
• Recruitment of staff in consultation with the Board of Management
• Liaise with parents/guardians on a regular basis regarding the ongoing progress and development of their children
• Carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by the Board of Management
• Provide induction training, regular supervision and complete all relevant documentation for the course body, where early years students are on professional practice

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From €19.94 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
