Role Responsibilities


A Childcare Practitioner with an outdoor focus, as in forest/outdoor education, plans and supervises nature-based play, manages outdoor risks, and fosters environmental exploration.

The Role

  • To report all areas of concern to the team leader/manager
  • To participate in themed days within the crèche when needed
  • To ensure the provision of a quality service to children and parents
  • To co-operate with Park Academy TUSLA Early Years Inspectors
  • To work as part of a team and liaise with other team members & team leaders
  • To come up with new ideas and activities to encourage learning with the children
  • To liaise with parents/guardians of the children and keep them informed of their children’s day

Qualifications and Requirements

  • All applicants must have minimum QQI / FETAC Level 5 and be eligible to work full time in Ireland. All other qualifications must be recognized by the DCYA.
  • We are eager to find a candidate with a genuine passion towards Early Years. The perfect candidate would be hardworking, ambitious, creative and a real team player
  • Additional experience and qualifications are highly desirable. Garda Vetting (and international police clearance if having lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months) will also be required.
