Childcare Worker/ Practitioner

We require one full time practitioner , where the successful candidates will work in our toddler rooms catering for the holistic needs of toddlers while being supported by staff and management team .

You will implement , with the help of colleagues an Aistear linked curriculum, and also child led activities. This includes indoor and outdoor activities in one of our 2 large outdoor play areas.

You will care for the early years environment , keeping in mind the interests of the children in the room , age appropriate activities and also Tusla regulations .

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €13.65-€16.28 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Strandhill, County Sligo: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Application question(s):

• Do you hold a QQI level 1 or fetac level 5 or above in childcare and education. It is a requirement to meet Tusla regulations that all staff working with 0-6yrs old children hold a minimum of fetac level 5 in childcare .

Education:

• Leaving Certificate (required)

Experience:

• Early childhood education: 1 year (preferred)

Work authorisation:

• Ireland (required)
