Chinese CDP – Café

Role: Chef de Partie (CDP) – Chinese
Experience: 3–6 years in Chinese / Café / Restaurant Kitchen

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook Chinese dishes such as noodles, fried rice, Manchurian, stir-fry, soups, and appetizers.
• Manage the Chinese section independently during daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure consistent taste, quality, portion size, and presentation.
• Complete mise en place and ensure all ingredients are ready for service.
• Follow standard recipes and maintain food quality and consistency.
• Handle wok cooking, sauces, seasoning, and Chinese cooking techniques.
• Monitor stock levels, proper storage, FIFO, and minimize food wastage.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety.
• Coordinate with the Head Chef and other kitchen team members for smooth service.
• Handle food preparation efficiently during peak hours.
• Guide and support Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Good wok handling, cooking, plating, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and storage practices.
• Ability to handle the Chinese section independently.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy café operations.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Professional and disciplined approach to kitchen operations.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
