Cinema Cleaner (Weekend Part-Time)

Position Overview:

Our Cleaners are responsible for cleaning and maintaining all public areas of the cinema. Ensuring a safe and sanitary environment at all times. This is completed while the cinema is closed to the public, in the morning - with some flexibility required on start time.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard
• Perform daily cleaning tasks according to standard operating procedures
• Follow directions from General Manager or Duty Manager regarding specific tasks and supplies needed for daily tasks
• Complete daily log sheets
• Report maintenance needs or accidents to General Manager or Duty Manager immediately
• Clean and maintain restrooms; perform urinal cleaning, clean sinks, tiling and mirrors.
• Remove rubbish from the restrooms and reline the bins
• Clean the Auditorium, including carpets, wall panelling, speakers, doors, seating and tables.
• Clean the Bar - and connecting corridors - to a high standard including carpets, doors/frames, tables, seating and picture frames.
• Participate in Online Training Modules
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations. (i.e., use proper safety equipment/PPE)
• Maintain communication with Management Team via Whatsapp
• Secure Building when Finished (Keyholder Responsibility)

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills in English
• Attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to work independently
• Flexibility
• Valid driver's license is a plus
• Previous office/workplace cleaning experience essential

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 3 per week

• Whilst this is a weekend cleaner role there may be occasions, for example holiday and sickness cover is required from time to time, where we require our cleaners to be available any day of the week. Are you able to commit to being available - if required - outside of your usual days? (Weekday cover shifts will range between a 07:45 start and a 09:30 start, depending on opening hours).
