Cinema Manager – Carrick-on-Shannon

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Cinema Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our cinema in Carrick-on-Shannon, which will be going through renovation. The successful candidate will be involved throughout the renovation period and in preparing the cinema for reopening. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong customer service and leadership skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

The Cinema Manager will work closely with the company Directors and the wider team during the renovation and relaunch of the cinema.

Key Responsibilities

• Support planning and preparation during the renovation and pre-opening phase.
• Oversee daily cinema operations (box office, concessions, floor, cleaning) once open.
• Lead, train, and schedule staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Handle cash management, stock control, and daily reporting.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, safety, and building upkeep.
• Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally.

About You

• Experience in hospitality, retail management, or a supervisory role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communicator with excellent people skills.
• Organised, reliable, and confident in making decisions.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and busy periods.
• Full training will be provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €30,000.00-€36,000.00 per year
