About Citisin
Citisin is redefining the rental market on a global scale. We believe that renting a home should be as seamless as shopping online—giving tenants the freedom to live anywhere in the world while providing landlords with effortless, cost-effective property management. Our vision is to remove complexity, eliminate excessive fees, and create a world where renting is simple and hassle-free.
We are building a high-performing, ambitious team of A-Players who are passionate about growth and ready to scale Citisin into a global leader in the industry. We believe in rewarding talent, fostering innovation, and promoting from within to create a culture where excellence thrives.
Position Summary
As the City Manager at Citisin, you will lead all aspects of our business operations, growth strategy, and customer satisfaction within your city. In the early stages, you will take a hands-on approach—directly managing property setups, overseeing maintenance, and engaging with customers to ensure high-quality service and operational efficiency.
Once the portfolio expands to 20 properties, you will have the opportunity to build and lead a dedicated local team, including setup and maintenance staff.
This role is ideal for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and isn’t afraid to take ownership. If you're ready to drive Citisin’s expansion and make a lasting impact in your city, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management (Hands-On Role)
Personally manage the onboarding and setup of properties, ensuring they meet Flex Living standards.
Oversee and execute initial property maintenance tasks, coordinating with external vendors where necessary.
Handle in-person interactions with property owners, tenants, and service providers.
2. Scaling Operations
Once the property portfolio reaches 20 units, recruit and train a local setup and maintenance team.
Transition hands-on responsibilities to the newly hired team and focus on strategic oversight.
Develop scalable systems and processes to support the team as the portfolio continues to grow.
3. Business Development
Actively source and onboard new property partners to expand Flex Living’s portfolio.
Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners and landlords.
Collaborate with the central team to tailor marketing strategies to your market.
4. Financial Oversight
Manage the city’s budget, ensuring cost efficiency in operations and property management.
Monitor and optimize revenue and profitability metrics, implementing strategies to meet financial goals.
5. Customer Experience
Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and issues in the early stages.
Collect and act on guest feedback to improve the customer experience.
Establish and maintain high-quality standards for all properties.
6. Compliance and Legal
Ensure all properties comply with local regulations, rental agreements, and tax requirements.
Liaise with legal advisors and government bodies to address compliance issues.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree.
Proven experience in operations.
Willingness to take on physical, hands-on responsibilities during the initial setup phase.
Strong leadership skills.
Proficiency in English and the language of the country where you will operate (written and spoken).
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-oriented approach.
Why Join Flex Living?
Be part of an innovative and fast-growing company revolutionizing the accommodation industry.
Opportunity to build a team and establish a long-term presence in one of Europe’s most vibrant cities.
