Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Civil Pipe Foreman to oversee and coordinate daily operations for underground pipe installation projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive field experience, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead crews in the installation of water mains, sanitary sewers, and storm drainage systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications
• Plan daily work activities and ensure efficient use of labor, equipment, and materials
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
• Monitor project progress and report on timelines and productivity
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control standards are met
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues

Qualifications

• Minimum [5+ years] of experience in civil pipe or underground construction
• Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role
• Strong knowledge of excavation, grading, and pipe installation techniques
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and grade stakes
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA or local equivalents)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred, if applicable)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with heavy equipment operation
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Confined space and trench safety training

Pay: $38.00-$44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
