Role Overview
We are looking for an efficient and proactive Purchase Executive with 2–3 years of experience in procurement for construction or interior projects. The role involves vendor management, material sourcing, price negotiation, and ensuring timely delivery to project sites. The candidate must be flexible to travel and should have a valid two-wheeler license.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Procurement & Sourcing
- Identify, source, and purchase construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain an updated list of reliable vendors and suppliers.
2. Price Negotiation & Cost Control
- Negotiate rates with vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Compare quotations and prepare cost sheets for management approval.
- Track price fluctuations and work to control material costs.
3. Material Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate with site engineers and project managers to understand material requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid project delays.
- Follow up with suppliers, transporters, and warehouse teams for delivery status.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare purchase orders, GRNs, supplier bills, and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain stock registers and update material inward/outward entries.
- Assist in verifying vendor invoices for payment processing.
5. Vendor Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality and delivery.
- Resolve any issues related to supplied materials or logistics.
6. Logistics & Travel
- Visit local markets, suppliers, and project sites regularly.
- Coordinate transportation and delivery schedules.
- Handle urgent material requirements and emergency purchases.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Commerce, Civil, or related fields.
- 2–3 years of experience in construction/interior material procurement.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and market knowledge.
- Proficiency in MS Office, purchase tracking tools, or ERP systems.
- Good understanding of construction materials and vendors.
Additional Requirements
- Must be flexible to work at any project/site location.
- Must know to ride a two-wheeler and possess a valid driving licence.
- Candidates preferred from Attibele, Chandapura, or Hosur.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
