Civil Qs Cum Drafter ( Strictly Minimum 3years Of Local Experience In Singapore

1. Quantity Surveying:

• > Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on design drawings and specifications. This includes calculating quantities of materials, labor, and overheads.
• > Tendering & Procurement: Assist with preparing and reviewing tender documents, and evaluating bids from contractors.
• > Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, track costs, and ensure that construction stays within budget.
• > Measurement & Valuation: Measure work completed and ensure accurate valuations for interim payments to contractors.
• > Change Management: Assess and manage any changes to the project’s scope or design and adjust cost estimates accordingly.

2. Drafting and Design Support:

• > Preparation of Drawings: Create detailed technical drawings, sketches, and plans using CAD software (like AutoCAD), based on the architect’s or engineer’s instructions.
• > Revisions and Updates: Update drawings as necessary during the construction process, reflecting any design changes or site conditions.
• > Collaboration with Engineers/Architects: Work closely with the project team to ensure the design is feasible and meets the required specifications.

3. Documentation and Reporting:

• > Report Preparation: Prepare regular reports to document the project’s financial status, progress, and any discrepancies in cost or design.
• > Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of quantities, costs, invoices, and revisions.

4. Site Visits & Coordination:

• > Site Inspections: Conduct site visits to assess work progress, verify the quality of materials and workmanship, and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.

> Coordination with Contractors/Subcontractors: Ensure smooth communication between the design team, project managers, and contractors regarding cost, design, and construction updates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
