RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and manage subcontractors engaged in civil projects, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and according to project plans.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to communicate project progress, issues, and resolutions effectively.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify and address potential hazards or noncompliance issues.
- Implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Document and report any incidents, accidents, or near misses in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
RQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supervising civil projects, preferably in construction or infrastructure development.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £37,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cornwell, Oxfordshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Telecom Industry: 3 years (preferred)
- Construction: 5 years (preferred)
- Civil Work: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
