Claims Solution Specialist

Job Description:

Our Claims Solution Specialists leverage their understanding of the professional revenue cycle to perform final validation and resolution of professional claims issues not requiring coding expertise. They perform manual charge entry and participate with Claims Solution Specialist-Coders in the continuous improvement efforts focused on increasing the efficiency and accuracy of the professional claims process.

Performs manual charge entry where necessary.

Resolves basic to intermediate claims issues not requiring coding certification including adding, removing, and/or changing CPT, HCPCS, and/or ICD codes in accordance with standing orders and/or other standard operating procedures.

Physical Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

Medical billing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional coding (CPT, ICD, HCPCS) experience

Root cause analysis experience

Physical Requirements

Interact with others requiring the employee to communicate information.

Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.

See and read computer monitors and documents.

Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$18.00 - $27.42
