Job Title: Class 1 Driver - Night Shunter and Bulk Food Liquid Deliveries
Location: Wainwright, Alberta
Shift: 12:30 a.m. start time, Sunday night to Friday

Job Description:
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for performing on-site night shunting duties and transporting bulk food liquids between Wainwright and the Edmonton area. This role requires a dedicated individual who can work independently and prioritize safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site night shunting operations as per customer requirements, shift starts at 12:30 a.m.
- Safely operate Class 1 vehicles to transport bulk food liquids between Wainwright and Edmonton area.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment and follow proper loading procedures.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to provide status updates and report any incidents or delays.
- Follow safety protocols for handling materials and maintain a clean and organized truck cabin.
- Demonstrate a commitment to on-time performance, customer service, and professional conduct.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial driving, preferably with liquid bulk transport.
- Strong knowledge of federal, provincial, and local transportation regulations and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and handle physical demands of the job.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and handle heavy materials when required.
- Be fluent in speaking, reading and writing in the English language.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 75 per week
