We are looking for Truck Drivers with Class 5 License

You must:

ü Have NZ Class 5 Truck Drivers Licence or must be qualified to obtain prior to commencement of the job.

ü Complete paperwork accurately and timely. Update all the information as applicable.

ü Able to work independently and follow instructions.

ü Honest and enthusiastic with a positive and mature attitude.

ü Must be available to work on weekends and even public holidays (if required).

Job Duties

Ø Transport goods from source to destination as required.

Ø Inspect vehicles regularly for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.

Ø Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route, destination, and parking) as well as comply with company policies and procedures.

Ø Careful handling of the truck while loading and unloading the items.

Ø In depth working knowledge of transportation of items.

Ø Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.

Ø Complete the paperwork accurately in timely manner. Update the information in whenever required.

Ø Ensuring goods or items are stocked properly in the vehicle to avoid any damage to them.

Ø Collecting and verifying delivery instructions.

Ø Checking the conditions of the materials or goods while collecting and delivering.

Ø Report any defects, accidents or violations while driving to appropriate personnel.

Ø Plan routes to meet delivery schedules.

Ø Refuel vehicle and check/replace oil as needed.

Ø Keep the interior of the vehicle clean and clutter free.

Ø Other additional tasks as may be required from time to time.

Minimum Hours per week: 30 Hours

Hourly Rate: $24 per hour

Location: Auckland Region.
