CDL Class B Hazmat Delivery Driver (Home Daily, No Weekends) – Avon, OH

O.E. Meyer Co. is seeking a CDL Class B Hazmat Delivery Driver to join our Avon, Ohio branch. This role is responsible for safe, local delivery of compressed gas cylinders and related products while providing excellent customer service. Drivers are home daily and play an important role in maintaining our strong reputation for safety and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, strong work ethic, and a Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or the ability to obtain endorsements).

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, and deliver compressed gas cylinders to customer locations
• Unload products and pick up empty cylinders or unsold merchandise
• Maintain positive customer relationships through professional service
• Perform cylinder inspections according to company procedures
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely
• Follow all DOT, Hazmat, and company safety requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class A or Class B CDL
• Hazmat endorsement required (or ability to obtain as a condition of employment)
• Tanker endorsement preferred (or ability to obtain)
• Clean driving record
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment (training available)
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver up to 100 lbs with equipment

Pay: $26.00 - $29.75 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

• Commercial driving: 1 year (Required)
• Load & unload: 1 year (Preferred)
