This vacancy is only open to University of Auckland students who are currently enrolled.
As a student checker of LESU, you will take a varied role in supporting lecture theatre equipment, Lecture Recording Management. The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Contributing 5 hours a week from Monday to Friday, with work hours between 7 am-8 am.
- Performing morning routine checks of the Lecture Theatre (LT) system to ensure that it is well-functioning in the rooms allocated to you
- Checking the functioning of the following technical assets within each of the rooms that you are responsible for: Control Panel, Preview Screen, Projectors, Lectern & Radio Mics, Lectern PC, Document Camera, Annotation Tablet, and Phone.
- Reporting and addressing any faults/problems in a timely manner to make sure that all of the issues are resolved before lectures begin at 8 AM
- Assisting with general duties required in maintaining the Audio / Video management of the systems.
Because this is primarily an early morning job, the ideal individual(s) will be responsible for coming to work on time and have a keen eye for detail. Further training will be provided upon commencement of work.
