Cleaner

Hours: 16-20 hours weekly

We are looking for a cleaner to support our team at the Drake Hotel during the full week, located by the beautiful seaside and in Plymouth’s city centre. We are a family-run guest accommodation 5 minutes' drive from the ferry terminal. Dating back to the 1830s, it offers free on-site parking and WiFi. Please only apply if you live permanently in Plymouth, and are flexible with work days.

Cleaning times (weekdays + weekends) : From 9:30/10am onwards

You need to have good attention to detail, efficient customer friendly, positive and able to clean the rooms quickly but to a high standard in the morning. This job is suitable for someone who is flexible with hours, and can work in the mornings. Rooms need to be ready before guest check in (around 2pm) and ideally finished around 1-1:30pm so a quality check can be conducted.

Some duties to include:

• Keeping all areas of the hotels clean, safe, and maintaining company standards
• General dusting and vacuuming of communal and public areas· Promoting hotel brand and getting positive reviews
• Sweeping and mopping of all floors in public areas, toilets and bathrooms
• Emptying bins
• Cleaning of the inside of windows and doors
• Communication of any problems to the manager
• Occasional interactions with guests
• Replacing guest amenities tray
• Turndown service
