We are looking for multiple Cleaners for our company who will be required to work at different client sites within the Wellington region. The company deals in residence and commercial cleaning.

The job responsibilities will be as per below:

• Maintain cleanliness of commercial and residential spaces, including offices.
• Empty containers, bins, and trays, disposing of rubbish and recyclable materials in the proper manner.
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to clean floors, work areas, and machinery efficiently.
• Remove dust and dirt from ceilings, walls, overhead pipes, and fixtures.
• Use acids and solvents to clean surfaces, remove stains and dirt, strip old wax from floors, reapply wax, and polish for a renewed finish.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance activities to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and other wet areas, and report any faulty equipment to management.
• Operate large truck-mounted carpet cleaning machines for comprehensive carpet cleaning.
• Clean residues from machines, ships, furnaces, boilers, and tanks to ensure they operate correctly.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
• Inform management of any deficiencies, necessary repairs, or issues encountered during cleaning tasks

Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $25 to $30 per hour.

Other important requirements:

• The candidate should be comfortable working in rostered shifts between Monday to Sunday.
• Should be available at any time within 24 hours as employee will be given one week’s notice for their shift.
• Comfortable for morning shifts
• Reliability is highly appreciated with timings.
• Eye for detail.
• Available to work on weekends.
• Physically fit and healthy
• Good at teamwork
• Comfortable for previous character check.
• The candidate should not have any criminal convictions or violence history as part of the franchise procedure.
• Should be able to drive without any restrictions across different work sites.
• Comfortable with pre-employment drug test

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability
