The Opportunity

We’re looking for a dedicated Cleaner to help maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and safety at our client sites.

• Start date: 28th August
• Location: Mareeba Library
• Experience preferred, but training will be provided
• Strong attention to detail and reliability

Just Focus Pty Ltd is a respected local company proudly servicing Innisfail and Mareeba Councils. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Cleaner to take over cleaning duties at the Mareeba Library.

About the Role: You’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for library staff and visitors. This role requires a strong eye for detail, consistency, and a proactive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• General cleaning of library facilities including floors, bathrooms, windows, and common areas
• Ensuring hygiene standards are met and maintained
• Reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly
• Following site specific cleaning schedules and protocols

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous cleaning experience (commercial or public spaces preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to learn training provided
