We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and self-motivated Cleaner / Property Maintenance Officer to join our growing short-term rental and shared accommodation business in Sydney.

We manage multiple properties across different Sydney locations. The successful candidate will be required to travel between houses during the day, clean rooms and common areas, check property condition, report any issues, and assist with small maintenance tasks when required.

This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, manage their time well, drive efficiently between locations, and take pride in keeping properties clean, organised and guest-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel between multiple properties across Sydney
  • Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas and common areas
  • Ensure each property is clean, tidy and well presented
  • Check rooms and common areas for damage, missing items or maintenance issues
  • Restock basic household supplies where required
  • Report any issues to management promptly
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks where possible
  • Change locks, replace light bulbs, tighten fixtures or assist with other small repairs if capable
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and on time
  • Work independently and follow the daily schedule efficiently

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s licence
  • Must be confident driving between different locations in Sydney
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Able to work independently without constant supervision
  • Good English communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties
  • Basic handyman or maintenance skills will be highly regarded
  • Must be available to work 6 days per week (weekends mandatory)
  • Must have Australian work rights

Remuneration & Benefits:

  • Salary between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on experience and skillset.
  • Superannuation paid on top of salary
  • Fuel card provided for work-related travel
  • Accommodation may be available in one of our managed houses for the right candidate

About You:

You are someone who takes pride in your work, enjoys being active throughout the day, and can be trusted to complete tasks properly without needing constant supervision. You are organised, responsible, and able to move efficiently from one property to another.

Basic handyman skills are not essential, but they will be considered a strong advantage.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
