Cleaner (Casual)

Overview

8Hour casual cleaning shifts, as and when necessary, from 1 to 5 days per week. 8AM to 5PM

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various environments, including commercial spaces and hotels. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A background in customer service is advantageous, as you will be interacting with clients and ensuring their satisfaction with our cleaning services.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in designated areas.
• Ensure all surfaces are cleaned to a high standard, including floors, windows, and restrooms.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to client requests and addressing concerns promptly.
• Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
• Assist in deep cleaning tasks as required, including commercial cleaning projects.

Experience

• Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Experience in hotel or commercial cleaning environments is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• A willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to various cleaning tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
