About the role:

Mitavite is looking for a motivated person to work alongside our production and office staff. You will be responsible for the cleaning of our production and office areas, ensuring the site is clean, safe and meets our safety and quality standards.

• Full training will be provided..
• Days and hours are flexible for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of feed mill and grounds , sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces and machinery to maintain a fresh, tidy appearance.
• Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas to the highest hygiene standards.
• Empty bins, manage waste disposal, and ensure recycling is handled correctly.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including correct use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

About you

To succeed in the role, you will require:

• Previous cleaning experience in cleaning and yard work (preferred but not essential).
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and occasional lifting.
• A positive attitude and respect for confidentiality in all environments
• Previous experience working within a production environment is advantageous.
• A willingness to learn
• A good understanding of Quality, WHS and Food Safety Systems
• A forklift licence is highly desirable
