An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent part time Cleaner to join our Infrastructure Services Directorate in Nebo.

Reporting to the Maintenance Officer this position is responsible for the cleaning of amenities, properties and facilities including Council owned offices, buildings and fatigue accommodation, to the required standard.

The successful candidate will have:

• Demonstrated experience in cleaning services and customer service
• An understanding of chemical and cleaning equipment
• A strong work ethic
• Attention to detail
• An understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles
• A ‘C’ Class Open Australian driver’s licence

For this position we offer:

• $32.42 per hour
• Nominally 38 hours per fortnight with flexibility to work up to 76 hours per fortnight
• 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading pro-rata
• Up to 14.5% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
