Cleaner (Part-Time)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our nursery team for 10 hours per week . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in our nursery environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy and clean at the end of the day This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and an application of a Enhanced Dbs ( cost will be met by the employer)

Duties

• Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, including play rooms , restrooms, s, and communal spaces.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables appropriately.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.

Requirements

• Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with team members and clients.
• Previous experience in a cleaning role or customer service is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to drive may be beneficial for roles requiring travel between multiple sites.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are necessary for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• A proactive attitude towards work and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
