Cleaner (Part-Time) 5.30pm-8.30pm

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for children, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the crèche are cleaned and sanitised to a high standard in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise classrooms, sleep areas, corridors, and communal spaces.
• Clean and disinfect toilets, handwashing facilities, and nappy-changing areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the premises.
• Clean toys, play equipment, furniture, and high-touch surfaces regularly.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and hygienically.
• Replenish cleaning materials, soap, paper towels, and other hygiene supplies as required.
• Follow all health, safety, and infection-control procedures in line with Tusla requlations.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, or damaged equipment to management.
• Store cleaning products and equipment safely and securely.
• Assist with deep-cleaning tasks as required.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and attentive to detail.
• Good communication skills.

Pay: From €14.15 per hour
