Nail Salon Cleaner:

Location: 14A Bali Lane
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $1600 - Hourly Rate >$33
Working Hours: 4 days a week, 3 hours per session

Job Overview:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team at NS Nail Studio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the salon, ensuring that our clients and staff enjoy a clean, welcoming environment. If you have a keen eye for detail and take pride in keeping spaces spotless, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning Duties:

• Sweeping and mopping the salon floors regularly, especially between client appointments to ensure a clean working area.
• Cleaning and sanitizing workstations, including nail tables, chairs, and countertops.
• Disinfecting tools and equipment such as nail clippers, scissors, and other implements, following the salon's sanitation protocols.
• Emptying trash bins and ensuring proper disposal of waste, including hazardous waste like nail dust and chemical-soaked materials.
• Dusting and wiping down surfaces, including shelves, mirrors, and retail displays.
• Cleaning the reception and waiting areas, including seating and display units.

2. Restroom Maintenance:

• Cleaning and restocking the restroom, ensuring that it is clean, hygienic, and well-stocked with supplies such as soap, hand sanitizer, and paper towels.

3. Laundry:

• Washing and folding towels, robes, and other fabrics used in the salon.
• Ensuring that clean linens are available and stored appropriately.

4. Maintaining Supply Levels:

• Checking and restocking cleaning supplies, as well as sanitizing products for staff use.
• Informing management when supplies are running low.

5. Deep Cleaning:

• Performing periodic deep cleaning tasks such as polishing surfaces, scrubbing floors, cleaning air vents, and windows.
• Ensuring that all high-touch areas (door handles, reception desk, etc.) are sanitized frequently.

6. Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations:

• Following proper health and safety standards, including wearing gloves or masks when needed.
• Ensuring proper ventilation in areas where chemicals are used or stored.
• Reporting any health or safety hazards to the salon management.

7. Customer Service:

• Maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere to enhance the overall customer experience.

This role may also require assisting the salon staff during busy periods by ensuring work areas are tidy and well-prepared for the next client.
