Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors. This role is essential in supporting the overall functionality of our operations through effective facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, and surfaces throughout the facility.
• Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks like changing lightbulbs as needed to ensure a well-kept environment.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning duties.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks.
• Good communication skills to interact with staff and management professionally.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
