About the role

We are looking for a Cleaning Assistant with some experience of working in a similar role in a fast-paced environment to join our team. This opportunity will suit someone with a flexible approach. Reporting to the Facilities Manager the Cleaning Assistant will be responsible for supporting the wider team, ensuring daily tasks are achieved, including:

· Vacuum, sweep and mop all floor areas

· Operate a floor cleaner to clean and maintain our factory floor

· Dusting and cleaning of surfaces throughout the premises, including touch points in our factory

. Follow cleaning schedules and protocols

. Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

· Remove all litter

· Clean all sanitary ware and replenish all bathroom stocks (soap, toilet rolls, etc.)

· Clean staff break/kitchen areas

· Escalate any issues which need Janitorial support

The ideal candidate will bring some experience and have:

· Excellent verbal and written communications skills

· Be able to work as part of a diverse team in a faced paced environment

· The ability to use their own initiative as well as working as part of a team

· A keen eye for detail and high level of accuracy

. Good time management skills

Further Details

This role will be on a permanent, part-time basis working 20 hours over 5 days. The suggested shift times are 6pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday however we are happy to discuss alternative start and end times between 5pm and 12am with the successful candidate.

The starting salary for this position is £11,897 per annum.
