Responsibilities and Duties

• Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
• Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops
• General maintenance of the laundry floor
• Mopping floors with wet or damp mops
• Using electrically powered scrubbing and polishing machines to burnish, scrub, polish and spray clean floors (after receiving proper instruction and training).
• To dust, damp wipe, wash or polish furniture, ledges, window sills, external surfaces of cupboards, radiators, shelves and fitments.
• To replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels)
• To clean toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks.
• The use of chemical agents as directed by the Supervisor in the discharge of cleaning operations or maintenance procedures, after receiving proper instructions and training.
• Cleaners may also be required to clean cooker and work surface areas.
• Litter picking surrounding grounds of development.
• Car park up keep (litter picks)
• Carry out instruction as directed by the Supervisor.
• On site training will be provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From €14.15 per hour
