Cleaning Supervisor/Cleaner

Working flexible hours.

Responsibilities include:

- Ensuring all cleaning meets the expected and agreed-upon standards.

- Making sure all cleaners/housekeepers adhere to the cleaning specifications.

- Monitoring the usage of equipment and materials, and managing inventory control.

- Maintaining the tidiness and safety of all equipment, machinery, and cleaning storage areas.

- Upholding a professional image among staff.

- Confirming that cleaning staff comprehend and follow task schedules.

- Training and developing staff to enhance productivity and foster a positive work environment.

- Potentially participating in the recruitment process for the housekeeping/cleaning team.

Additional responsibilities include:

- Performing daily cleaning tasks as per the checklist and schedule established for each client site.

- Emptying waste bins.

- Vacuuming and mopping floors.

- Dusting window sills, handrails, baseboards, and glass partitions.

- Cleaning toilet areas.

- Operating cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubber dryers, and vacuums.

Requirements:

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team

- Demonstrated proficiency in effective planning

- Capability to offer constructive feedback

- Confidence and a presentable demeanour

- Possession of a Full Clean Driving License

- A van/car is provided for work shifts

- Essential cleaning experience

- Beneficial experience includes: self-catering accommodations/Airbnb, hotels, and hostels

Pay: €13.50-€14.00 per hour
