Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaning Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various commercial facilities.

You will also be responsible to work with the restoration and remediation team to demolish water damaged structures, setting up drying equipment and taking it down after the building is dry.

Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure that all spaces are spotless, well-maintained, and meet the highest standards of cleanliness. Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility
• Handle chemical agents safely, including mixing, applying, and disposing of floor cleaning chemicals and floor care products like waxes and polishes
• Conduct detailed floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing to restore floors to their best condition
• Carry out heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when moving furniture or cleaning large areas
• Perform carpet cleaning using appropriate methods to remove stains and maintain fiber integrity
• Maintain strict adherence to environmental services standards by using eco-friendly cleaning products and techniques whenever possible
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests and ensuring a welcoming environment
• Follow safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation to prevent accidents or injuries

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or institutional settings is highly preferred
• Experience with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet extractors, and floor scrubbers is essential
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely while following proper procedures for mixing and disposal
• Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged standing or walking during shifts
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Good communication skills with a customer-focused attitude
• Knowledge of environmental services practices is a plus but not required

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
