We are currently seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and personable Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing team.

As the first point of contact for our clients, our CSRs play a vital role in creating welcoming, positive experiences for both pets and their people. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates with empathy and professionalism, and enjoys working as part of a close-knit, supportive team.

This position is a maternity leave coverage role, with the potential opportunity for continued employment following the coverage period based on hospital needs and team growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet clients and patients warmly in person and over the phone
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate daily hospital flow
  • Respond to client inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency
  • Maintain accurate patient and client records
  • Process payments, invoices, and retail transactions
  • Support clients with food, prescription, and product purchases
  • Collaborate closely with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and fellow CSRs to ensure seamless patient care
  • Assist in educating clients on hospital services, wellness care, and products when appropriate
  • Help create a welcoming and positive environment for clients, patients, and team members alike

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Comfort with technology and medical scheduling software
  • Experience in veterinary medicine or medical reception is considered an asset
  • Multilingual abilities are considered an asset
  • Passion for helping people and animals

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
  • Provide accurate information about products, services, and policies to customers.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately to update customer records and transaction details.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling additional products or services to enhance customer experience.
  • Maintain a high standard of phone etiquette and communication skills during all interactions.
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting issues or resolving complaints effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve service processes and customer satisfaction levels.
  • Document customer interactions thoroughly and follow up as needed to ensure resolution.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
