As a key member of the ATSICHS Brisbane team, the Registered Nurse provides critical thinking and analysis to the clinical team, collaborating with clinicians and health workers ensuring efficient client assessment, workflow and maintaining care plans is in place. Registered Nurses work with the clinic team to provide continuity of care; client follow up and recalls.
Duties
- Provide quality nursing practice within an Aboriginal primary health care model of service by assisting the primary health care team and effectively plan workload to achieve results.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organisations, hospitals, and other stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the Primary Health Clinic, integrating culturally safe practices.
- Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of ATSICHS Policy and procedures in line with AGPAL Accreditation Standards.

Benefits
- Base salary of $82,732 per annum (Based on qualification and experience).
- Additional 12% Super + access to salary packaging (Increases your take home pay).
- Permanent Full Time position.

Immunisation history showing you have received two doses of a Covid -19 vaccine is encouraged.
Skills and Experiences:
Required
Bachelor’s degree in nursing or higher.
Full un-restricted AHPRA registration.
Ability to support a continuous improvement model for achieving outcomes.
Decisive listening, influencing and persuasive skills.
Knowledge of culturally safe practices and sensitivity towards Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Primary Health Care.
Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes.
Evidence of Work Rights.
Preferred
- Knowledge of and experience working with – MMEx.
