Salary Disclosure Statement
- Work closely with the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure residents receive the best clinical care possible.
- Provide nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy integrated with the patient's medical needs.
- Assess and identify the nutritional status of residents using validated screening tools.
- Complete timely nutrition assessments and Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments as required.
- Plan, develop, implement and monitor the nutrition plan of care for each resident.
- Provide nutrition recommendations for patients reliant on enteral nutrition support.
- Provide nutrition education to patients and families.
- Utilize current standards and evidence-based practices.
- Prioritize patient-based care and residents’ rights.
- Complete monthly quality assurance and process improvement audits.
- Current Registered Dietitian license in the state of Maryland.
- Bachelor's degree with a major in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Dietitian, preferred.
- Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility is highly desired.
- Knowledge of the Nutrition Care Process and ability to apply all steps of the process.
- A strong desire to deliver care in an empathetic, compassionate way.
- Superb organizational and time management skills.
- Decision making, problem solving, and collaboration skills are a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
