The Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick Psychology Department is seeking to appoint a temporary part-time Clinical Neuropsychologist (24 hours per week) for approximately 12 months, to consult to patients primarily referred by the Neurology, Neuro-Oncology and Neurosurgery teams. The Clinical Neuropsychologist will work closely with multi-disciplinary team members and psychology colleagues to promote optimal outcomes for patients. The Psychology Department has an established culture of collegiality, respect, reflective practice, professional supervision and support.

- Responses to the questions below:
- Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and full endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia in the area of Clinical Neuropsychology or eligible to progress to same.
- Minimum 2 year full time equivalent accredited post-graduate Masters or Doctorate Degree in Clinical Neuropsychology
- Experience in the neuropsychological assessment and management of children with a history of acquired brain injury, developmental disorder and/or neurological conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Excellent oral and written communication and organisational skills.
- Applicants currently enrolled in a combined Masters/PhD are eligible to apply if they have completed the equivalent of Masters degree requirements as part of the PhD pathway. Evidence of this is demonstrated by a completed PDEC-76 form and cover letter from the University confirming Masters degree requirements have been met.
- Applicants are eligible to apply if they have completed an accredited Masters degree and are awaiting their graduation ceremony. Written confirmation from the University is required.
- Successful applicants who have completed the Masters degree or Masters degree requirements and are awaiting full registration from the Psychology Board of Australia will be paid at Year 2 of the Psychologist Scale until they have full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, at which point they will commence on Year 1 of the Clinical Psychologist scale.
