Clinical Nurse: We provide all aspects of mental health support, drug and alcohol management and community nursing. We also cater for participants of the NDIS scheme in their various homes and Young people. We ensure to empower individuals to be as independent as possible. That way, they can have more choices and control over their lives.
As part of our commitment to supporting the most vulnerable in our communities, we now also provide specialised services for children and young people under department of child services, particularly those who are at risk, vulnerable, or in out-of-home care
The role is based On-site in Ipswich and provides services across Brisbane.
Who we are seeking:
We are growing our business and have redesigned this Clinical Nursing position to coordinate growth in the Child Safety stream as well as provide specialised mental health consultation and support across the organisation.
- You are a qualified Nurse, ideally with experience and passion for working with high needs vulnerable and at risk children.
- You will be passionate about supporting people to live their best lives.
- You are a caring and capable individual who enjoys working with clients to achieve planned outcomes and meaningful results.
- You are a brilliant communicator who can communicate with children and adults with complex needs as well keeping all internal and external stakeholders informed.
- You like to lead by example and have systems in place to support workers to provide quality services.
- You are an excellent multitasker with exceptional time management skills.
- Your attention to detail means that your reporting deadlines are never missed, incidents are recorded and close out, and your clients files are accurate and up to date.
- You can complete intakes for participants and young people coming into care.

A competitive salary of $96- 102K is available for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- • Experience and/or qualifications in mental health are highly regarded.
- Previous experience working with vulnerable and at risk children in a Senior or supervisory role.
- Ability to lead, manage, train and mentor team members.
- Ability to assist with planning and coordinating client care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal skills and with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively, respectfully and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated time management skills and ability to multi-skill work duties to maximise productivity.
- A demonstrated continuous improvement approach
- Current disability worker screening check and Blue Card
- A current, unrestricted, Queensland Drivers Licence
- A National Police Certificate
