We are looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join Kidz First Home Care Nursing!

Our Clinical Nurse Specialists provide specialist paediatric nursing follow-up for children and young people, including acute hospital discharge follow up, children and young people with significant chronic health issues including palliative care, children with disabilities and neonatal discharges.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a dynamic work environment filled with variety. We work closely alongside our Kidz First teams and other regional specialties to provide skilled support for whaanau across the diverse Counties Manukau area, reducing health inequities. You will enjoy the many opportunities to broaden and develop your skill base, working as part of a locality team. Our comprehensive orientation programme can be tailored to suit your individual needs.

If you are an experienced Paediatric/Neonatal registered nurse who is looking for a new challenge working in the community that offers diversity, loads of learning opportunities, flexibility and great people to work with, then look no further. Full drivers licence essential.

Essential:

  • Minimum 5 years recent clinical experience in Paediatrics and/or Neonatal Care in NZ
  • A Post graduate Diploma level qualification and commitment to completing Masters
  • Registered Nurse with New Zealand Nursing Council
  • Current annual practicing certificate
  • Full and clean NZ drivers licence
