About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated NZ Registered Pharmacist wishing to join our pharmacy team in a fixed-term position to cover a secondment. This is an opportunity to join a highly engaged pharmacy team with a strong emphasis on clinical service provision and quality whilst also collaborating with a wide range of teams within Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Taranaki.

The role includes the following:

• Delivery of clinical ward services to a defined area, including Electronic Medicines Reconciliation on admission.
• Medicine information.
• Delivery of In-service training/education.
• Medicine-related guideline/protocol development and reviews.
• Medicine supply-related activities, including non-sterile manufacturing.

About you

You will need to have:

• A Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent.
• Hold a current APC with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand
• Previous experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting is desired.
