Clinical Specialist - Mri Medical Radiation Technologist

- Work shifts between 7am to 8.30pm – Monday to Friday (as well as weekend and on call roster)
- You’d be expected to work at all three sites of Te Toka Tumai MRI Service on all major bus routes
Join Te Toka Tumai Auckland and be part of our growing Radiology Department, providing Radiological services to our patients from all three sites: Adult Radiology at Auckland City Hospital, Paediatric Radiology at Starship Hospital and our Outpatient Clinic at Greenlane Clinical Centre.
Te Toka Tumai’s Radiology Department houses 4 state of the art MRI scanners:
- A 1.5T Siemens Sola scanner located at Auckland City Hospital, this caters for cardiac imaging and a mix of in and out-patient work.
- A 3T Siemens Vida scanner located at Auckland City Hospital, this caters for mostly acute and in-patient work.
- A 3T Siemens Skyra scanner located at Greenlane Clinical Centre for out-patient examinations.
- A 3T Siemens Skyra located at Starship Children’s Hospital, this is a mix of in and out-patient paediatrics and some adult work.
You will be responsible for scanning of paediatric and adult patients across all Te Toka Tumai sites working shifts between 7 am to 8.30 pm, Monday to Sunday. Participation on the weekend and on-call roster outside of these hours will be required.

To be successful in this role:
- You must be registered with the New Zealand MRT Board and have a current Annual Practicing Certificate to be considered. For more details visit: mrtboard.org.nz
- As an ideal candidate, you will have experience in MRI
- MRI cardiac experience would be highly desirable
