What you'll be doing

As a Clinical Support Officer, you will provide high-quality administrative and operational support to the nursing and multidisciplinary healthcare team. You will help coordinate ward processes, manage patient-related administration and contribute to efficient service delivery within the rehabilitation unit.
In this role you will:
  • Provide accurate data entry, reporting and administrative support.
  • Manage ward stock ordering, supplies and inventory maintenance.
  • Support patient care coordination through communication and documentation.
  • Respond professionally to enquiries from patients, families and staff.
  • Assist with meetings, quality improvement initiatives and workplace safety activities.

Selection Criteria
  • Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and consumers.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and use initiative.
  • Holds or is willing to obtain a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills including accurate spelling, comprehension, and spoken word with the ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
  • Ability to apply problem solving skills to complex issues.
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency with Microsoft products.
