Clothing Sales Executive

Job Summary:

The Clothing Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling apparel products to customers, delivering excellent service, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves product presentation, assisting customers with selections, achieving sales targets, and maintaining the brand’s visual and service standards.

Key Responsibilities:Customer Service & Sales

  • Greet customers warmly and identify their clothing preferences and needs.
  • Present and demonstrate apparel collections, highlighting features, fabric, and fit.
  • Assist customers in selecting suitable garments, sizes, and accessories.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales and meet individual/store targets.
  • Process sales transactions accurately through POS systems.

Store Operations

  • Maintain stock display, replenishment, and visual merchandising according to brand guidelines.
  • Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Tag and label new arrivals, manage fitting rooms, and handle returns or exchanges.
  • Coordinate with the inventory team for stock availability and product transfers.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with repeat customers to encourage loyalty.
  • Collect and update customer data for CRM or loyalty programs.
  • Follow up with clients for special orders, alterations, or upcoming promotions.

Sales Reporting

  • Record daily sales and report to the store or sales manager.
  • Provide feedback on customer preferences, product quality, and market trends.
  • Contribute ideas for increasing sales and improving customer experience.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, and styling.
  • Positive attitude, confidence, and persuasive selling ability.
  • Customer-oriented with strong service ethics.
  • Basic computer skills (POS systems, Excel, inventory software).
  • Team player with a sense of responsibility and time management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum: 10th / 12th pass; Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion / Retail / Marketing preferred.
  • 1–4 years of experience in apparel, fashion, or retail sales.
  • Experience in branded clothing or boutique environment is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
