Cloud Computing Intern

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Cloud Computing Intern to support our IT/Cloud team in managing cloud-based services and infrastructure. The intern will get hands-on exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud and assist in cloud deployment, monitoring, security, and troubleshooting tasks. This internship is ideal for students or freshers who want to build a career in cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and managing cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Support cloud deployment, configuration, and monitoring activities.
• Help in creating and maintaining cloud documentation and reports.
• Assist in troubleshooting cloud-related issues and service performance.
• Learn and support cloud security practices and access management.
• Work with the team on cloud migration and backup solutions.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to cloud-based projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Familiarity with any cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of networking, virtualization, and operating systems.
• Understanding of Linux/Windows commands is preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Knowledge of DevOps tools (Git, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD basics).
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Understanding of cloud security and IAM concepts.
• Cloud certification (AWS Cloud Practitioner / Azure Fundamentals) is a plus.
