At Ayvens we have an opening for an experienced Cloud Security Officer.

What are you going to do?

As our new C loud Security Officer you will be responsible to lead and govern security across Microsoft Azure environments, ensuring that all applications operate in Azure securely and in full compliance with internal policies and regulatory obligations. This role serves as a senior cloud security expert, with deep specialization in Azure-native security capabilities, identity and access management, threat protection, and hybrid/cloud security controls. A strong focus is placed on embedding security‑by‑design principles, secure architecture patterns, and DevSecOps practices throughout the Azure development lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

Cloud Enablement & Security Advisory

• Act as a trusted Cyber security advisor and promote best practices in cloud security.
• Provide expert guidance on secure cloud adoption, migrations, and modernization efforts.
• Conduct security risk assessments and translate findings into actionable technical controls.
Validate and challenge cloud architectures through design reviews, threat modeling, and security assessments.

Identity & Access Management (IAM)

• Implement secure access patterns for internal, external, and cross‑tenant users.
• Govern privileged access, external identities, and role lifecycles through automated and policy‑driven controls.
Ensure all identity controls align with corporate security frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Security Operations & Risk Mitigation

• Ensure consistent application of security controls across all cloud environments.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate cloud-related security risks and misconfigurations.
• Collaborate with risk and operations teams to remediate findings and strengthen ongoing security posture.
Support incident response, root-cause analysis, and post‑incident improvement initiatives.

DevSecOps & Secure Development

• Ensure Azure and Azure DevOps environments are securely configured and operated.
• Integrate security controls and automated checks into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
Promote secure coding, IaC security, and automated vulnerability detection.

Compliance & Audit Readiness

• Ensure Azure environments comply with regulatory, corporate, and security requirements.
• Support internal and external audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Maintain documentation, evidence, and traceability to ensure audit readiness.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate is an experienced Azure Cloud Security expert with the ability to act as a trusted Security advisor across the organization and able to influence stakeholders to strengthen the security posture of large ‑ scale Azure environments. Proactive, solution ‑ oriented, and highly collaborative, he is able to work in complex and international context.

• You will have relevant experience in a similar role, preferably holding a master’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology
• Senior experience (10–15+ years) in cloud and cybersecurity, with a strong specialization in Microsoft Azure.
• Proven track record in secure infrastructure design, cloud migration strategies, and enterprise ‑ level compliance.
• Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and overseeing advanced security architectures for Azure environments.
• Expertise in Azure governance, cloud security best practices, identity & access management, and DevOps/DevSecOps integration..
• Certifications such as AZ ‑ 305, AZ ‑ 104, AZ ‑ 500, or AZ ‑ 900 are strongly appreciated
• Experience supporting audits, managing complex security operations, and implementing enterprise ‑ grade cloud security controls
• Fluent in English is required.
