We are looking for a hands-on Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in AWS web services, automation using Bash scripts, and infrastructure support. The role involves managing AWS resources, improving system reliability, and working closely with the software development team to deliver secure, scalable environments. You will also be involved in infrastructure hardening and VAPT remediation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, reliable AWS infrastructure using core services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53, RDS, SQS, SES, and more.
- Write and maintain Bash scripts for system automation and operational tasks (e.g., backups, patching, log rotation, routing updates).
- Provide ad-hoc support for on-premise Windows Server and Amazon Linux 2023 systems.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Set up monitoring and alerting using native AWS tools (e.g., CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
- Manage system backups and recovery for both AWS and on-prem systems.
- Collaborate with the software development team to support integration and deployment needs.
- Perform server hardening activities to align with best practices and compliance requirements.
- Work with penetration testers to close VAPT findings through remediation and configuration enhancements.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
- Solid knowledge of Amazon Linux 2023 and Windows Server administration.
- Proficient in writing Bash scripts for automation and system tasks.
- Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Familiar with AWS monitoring tools and best practices for alerts and observability.
- Experience with server hardening and applying security configurations.
- Familiar with VAPT processes and implementing remediation plans.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, especially working with software development teams.
- AWS certification is an advantage but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $3,500.00 - $5,500.00 per month
