We are looking to hire a Cloud Solution Architect-Manager (CSA-M) to join our diverse, talented, high performance, and innovative team, focused on driving rapid cloud solutions on Azure via the Cloud Accelerate Factory. The Cloud Accelerate Factory is best suited for individuals that are highly technical, solution focused and have a passion for Project Management. The Cloud Accelerate Factory provides opportunity to drive feedback into Microsoft’s core product teams to help improve our platform.
CSA-M’s operate globally and engage directly with customers. It is a leadership role, guiding Individual Contributors across design, build, and production. It requires candidates are expected to comfortably switch from a whiteboard to the keyboard. Responsibilities
A Cloud Solution Architect-Manager (CSA-M) within the Cloud & AI Platforms Global Customer Success team focused on helping customer jumpstart Azure projects with zero-cost deployment assistance by leveraging the Cloud Accelerate Factory, also known as the Factory.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy – As a Cloud Solution Architect - Manager, you’ll model, coach, and care for your team, fostering a high-performance culture rooted in excellence. You’ll guide the execution of technology strategy and digital transformation across strategic accounts, setting clear performance expectations and leading your team through change while maintaining high standards. You’ll demonstrate inclusiveness, inspire a growth mindset, and lead by example.

Deliver Results Through Collaboration – You’ll act as a trusted advisor and technical subject matter expert to Technical Decision Makers (TDMs), including CxOs. You’ll drive the execution of Microsoft’s priorities by developing and executing a clear team strategy that enables success, removes technical blockers, and champions innovation. You’ll foster strong, collaborative relationships to align objectives and maximize the impact of Factory solutions.
Customer-Centric Approach: End-to-end ownership of Factory engagements to help customers jumpstart Azure projects with no-cost deployment assistance, providing delivery oversight (hands-on as needed), proactive portfolio management, risk mitigation, and seamless stakeholder management to drive successful outcomes—particularly across AI/GenAI solution deliveries (e.g., copilots, grounded/RAG patterns, and agentic workflows).
Business Impact: Deliver customer success on Microsoft Cloud & AI Platforms with a focus on velocity and timely execution of high-value Factory delivery projects for EMEA customers; partner across ATU, SE&O, STU, ISD, and CSU to deliver outcomes; orchestrate Partner + Factory execution to scale reach and impact; and accelerate delivery by removing blockers and maintaining a strong governance rhythm for AI/GenAI engagements (scope, quality, risk, and adoption).
Technical Leadership: Leverage deep technical expertise in IP solutions and services development to provide credible guidance with partners and customers, stay current on emerging technologies (including GenAI), drive innovation, consult on alignment to Microsoft technology priorities, and assess readiness to address solution gaps; act as a Cloud Factory Lead for key engagements; and extract architectural/implementation patterns and actionable insights from delivery execution to close the loop with Technical Success colleagues and improve IP, offerings, and processes (including evaluation, quality, and Responsible AI considerations where applicable).
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND proven experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
Proven people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers.
Experience designing and delivering AI/GenAI solutions on Azure (e.g., copilots, grounded/RAG patterns, and agentic workflows), including Responsible AI, data/security considerations, and solution evaluation/quality practices.
Passion for technology and customer obsession.
Displays strong technical program management, stakeholder and relationship management across senior leaders, partners, and customers.
People management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers.
Enthusiasm towards leading technologies and motivation to learn and grow.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and / or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire / transfer and every two years thereafter.
