Essential Functions

  • Perform QC/QA testing on Civil Engineering projects Calibrate and maintain laboratory and field-testing equipment.
  • Obtain/maintain certifications for performing field and laboratory construction materials testing through a program approved by a State DOT (CTTP). First certification paid by McClelland Consulting Engineers, Inc.
  • Operate and maintain a company truck during working hours. Be prepared for field and lab work
  • Keep Lab area clean and workable.
  • Reports to the CMT Supervisor for field work and day-to-day operations. Responds to requests of Lab Supervisor regarding needed laboratory activities. Aids in ordering and obtaining supplies for materials lab.
  • Review, understand and agree to current Company Policy and its requirements.

This position is required to work outside in all different weather elements. Occasional night and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Most travel is limited to short or day trips to visit jobsites, meet clients, etc. Overnight trips are not generally required.

Required Education

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record
