We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Bayou Pines. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record residents' vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Help residents with mobility, including transferring them to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other locations.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by following infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to provide updates on residents' conditions and needs.
- Assist with the administration of medications and treatments as directed by nursing staff.
- Participate in resident care planning and contribute to the overall care team.
- Document care provided and any changes in residents' conditions accurately and timely.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

- Current certification as a Nurse Assistant in the state of Texas.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including lifting and moving residents.
